A Sacred Opportunity in the City of Light
Kashi is a living spiritual field — a tirtha where saints, yogis and seekers have meditated for thousands of years. Every ghat, every lane, every temple carries the vibration of deep tapasya.
Gurudev will make himself available each day for a few hours, exclusively for the Yatra group, creating dedicated time to be together and journey inward.

As this is an intimate pilgrimage with Gurudev Sri Anish, seats will be limited to nurture the depth, intimacy and sacredness of the Sangha.

Arrange Your Own Stay & Journey
To allow each sadhak the freedom to choose what works best for them, stay and personal travel arrangements are made individually. Each sadhak may arrange:
- Travel to and from Kashi
- Hotel / accommodation for the duration of the Yatra
- Personal transportation outside the group arrangements
Where to stay
We recommend choosing your stay within approximately 5 km of Kashi Vishwanath Temple for ease of participation in the Yatra.
The shared group expenses of approximately ₹5,000 will be collected in person at the time of arrival in Kashi. This is separate from your Ashram Contribution and is not made through the website.

Honour the Space of Gurudev
Gurudev may not be able to give individual one-to-one time to every sadhak during the Yatra. Please hold this with understanding and grace, and allow Gurudev's presence and guidance to remain available for the entire Sangha. This Yatra is an opportunity to be in his presence — not necessarily to seek individual attention.
Maintain Inner Silence
Please avoid unnecessary conversations so that we can remain receptive and absorb the energy and atmosphere of Kashi.
Respect Every Sadhak
Everyone is here for their own inner Yatra. Let us not judge, compare or comment on another sadhak's journey. We are here for our own inner Yatra.
Respect Kashi
Please be respectful towards the local customs, traditions, temples, people and sacred spaces of Kashi.
Enter Kashi with Reverence
Come with openness, silence, reverence and devotion, with the awareness that we are entering Kashi — the City of Shiva. Do not arrive with expectations of what Kashi “should” give you. Let your conduct, presence and participation reflect this reverence.

When will I know if my application is confirmed?
Complete your application and the ₹21,000 Ashram Contribution together through the form — this is a contribution towards the Ashram and its ongoing initiatives.
What is the essence of this Yatra?
This is an opportunity to experience Kashi as a living spiritual field — through the presence of Gurudev Sri Anish, personal exploration, Sangha and your own sadhana.
The Yatra is not about covering every temple or sightseeing. It is about slowing down, turning inward and allowing Kashi to reveal itself.
A sacred opportunity to be in the presence of Gurudev and experience Kashi — the City of Shiva.
How will we be with Gurudev during the Yatra?
Gurudev will make himself available every day for a few hours exclusively for the Yatra group. This time will include:
- Satsang
- Meditation
- Selected Ashram and temple visits
- Time together as a Sangha
The rest of the day will include ample time for your own individual sadhana and exploration.
Will we be visiting every temple with Gurudev?
No.
Most temples — including Kaal Bhairav, Kashi Vishwanath and many others — will need to be visited independently.
You are welcome to make your own arrangements or collaborate with fellow Sangha members and plan joint temple visits.

Where should I book my stay?
We recommend choosing your stay within approximately 5 km of Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
This will make it easier to join the group activities and manage local travel.
⚠️ December is peak season in Kashi. Please book your hotel and travel immediately after receiving your confirmation from Saadho Ashram.
Is there any other contribution for the pilgrimage?
Yes. Approximately ₹5,000 per person will be collected for shared group expenses during the Yatra. These may include:
- Group meals
- Local transportation
- Boat rides
- Selected Ashram visits
- Other common group arrangements
The amount will be collected at the time of arrival.
Will there be personal time every day?
Yes.
Every day will include time for your own sadhana, rest, reflection, sitting by the Ganga, walking through Kashi and independently exploring its ancient temples.
This personal time is an important part of the Yatra.
Is the Yatra physically demanding?
The pace will be gentle and senior-friendly. However, Kashi involves walking, uneven lanes, steps and crowds. Please plan according to your own physical comfort and capacity.
