A foundational meditation through the sacred sound of Shiva.
In the voice of Gurudev Sri Anish
Before entering a Sadhana Retreat, pilgrimage or other immersive programme with Gurudev — it is important to first prepare the space within.
This is a sacred, guided meditation designed to help you become inwardly balanced and receptive before you enter the journey.
This meditation is based on the sound of Om Namah Shivaya, guided by Gurudev Sri Anish.
Our inner space is often filled with noise — thoughts, emotions, impressions and scattered energies. Naad — the vibration of sacred sound — creates an inner harmony, receptivity and readiness.
Panchakshari means "five syllables" in Sanskrit. The five syllables — Na Ma Shi Va Ya — form the Panchakshari Mantra, one of the most revered mantras of Shiva. These five syllables also represent the five elements.
Prefixed by Om, the Pranava — the primordial sound — the mantra becomes an invocation of Shiva Tattva, the divine presence of Shiva within us.
This is not merely a mantra to be repeated. It is an invitation to Shiva — a Naad to be received, entered into, and allowed to work within.
Before the journey, prepare within.Gurudev Sri Anish
Before entering deeper, become receptive.
Through Naad, return to the silence within.
Begin 21 days before your journey with Gurudev.
Listen to the Initiation Video, where Gurudev introduces the practice, shares the essential guidance and personally guides you through the meditation.
For the next 21 days, continue the meditation each day using the guided Naad meditation audio — 30 minutes, once every day. Consistency is an important part of the practice.
