INITIATION

Diksha (Initiation) is the sacred resolve of the disciple

  • to abide in awareness,
  • to dwell in joy,
  • and to live rooted in gratitude.

It is a declaration

  • to walk in harmony with all beings,
  • to transcend the limited self,
  • and to dedicate one’s life to the welfare of all creation.

When this resolve becomes steady in the heart,

  • by the grace of the Guru,
  • the eyes of wisdom open,
  • life finds its true direction,
  • and the purpose of this sacred birth is revealed.

With this, the disciple comes back to the real Self, the real home where Shiva and Shakti reside. Where all duality of the mind dissolves and where, the non-dual self alone becomes the whole.

Diksha is truly a rebirth —

from illusion to truth

from ignorance to knowing

from bondage to eternal liberation.

  2. Diksha (initiation) is a sacred and intense process; with Diksha you will be given a new name (a spiritual name) - you can continue to carry/use your legal name for all practical purposes. And you will also be initiated into a profound Shiv-Shakti Sadhana by Gurudev personally.
  3. You will be requested to submit your photo once the Diksha form is approved.

Please fill the form and a volunteer from Saadho Ashram will get in touch with you.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do I need to be initiated into any Sadhana technique by Gurudev Sri Anish or Saadho Sadhana practices to be eligible for Diksha?

No. There is no such requirement. The only prerequisite is that you should have attended Gurudev Sri Anish’s Satsang — either in person or online — or have watched Gurudev’s Satsangs on YouTube or other official platforms.

This helps establish a basic inner connection and understanding before entering the sacred space of Diksha.

2. I am already initiated in another Guru–Parampara. Can I still receive Diksha from Gurudev Sri Anish? Will it create any conflict?

Yes. Receiving Diksha from Gurudev Sri Anish does not create any conflict with your earlier Diksha. Gurudev honours all Guru–Paramparas. Diksha here supports and deepens your spiritual journey, rather than replacing or negating your past grace.

3. I am already practising the Sadhana received from another Guru. Can I still apply for Diksha from Gurudev Sri Anish?

Yes. You may continue your existing Sadhana practices along with the guidance received through Diksha from Gurudev Sri Anish.

4. Can householders apply for Diksha?

Yes. Diksha is open to householders.

5. Is it necessary to live at the Ashram after receiving Diksha?

No. After Diksha, Sadhaks are not required to live at the Ashram. You may continue your spiritual journey from wherever you are.

6. Are there any dietary restrictions after Diksha?

No. There are no mandatory dietary restrictions. However, a gradual transition towards a sattvic diet is naturally supportive for Sadhana.

7. Is it mandatory to do Seva at the Ashram after Diksha?

No, it is not mandatory. However, Seva (Karma Yoga) is a strong foundation for spiritual growth and is recommended in whatever way and capacity you can offer.

8. Is there any minimum daily time commitment after Diksha?

Yes. As part of Diksha, Gurudev Sri Anish initiates Sadhaks into a sacred Shiv–Shakti Dhyan. It is required to practice this meditation for 30 minutes daily, as a powerful support for one’s Sadhana.

9. Are there any fees or required contributions for Diksha?

No. There are no fees or compulsory contributions for Diksha.

10. I have submitted the Diksha application form. What happens next?

Gurudev Sri Anish personally reviews all Diksha applications. Sadhaks whose applications are approved will be contacted with the next steps for Diksha.

11. By when will I know if my Diksha application is approved, so that I can plan my travel accordingly?

Approved applicants will be informed well in advance about their Diksha confirmation, allowing sufficient time to plan travel and other arrangements with ease.
