Saadho Conscious Stays, Dharamshala

A Residency for the Sangha

A Home for Those Who Serve

Inspired by the vision of the Saadho Sangha Foundation and guided by Gurudev Sri Anish, Saadho Conscious Stays is a living space in the foothills of Dharamshala, close to the ashram — created for the community of sadhaks walking this path together.

For those who want to be a part of the ashram's seva, to associate deeply with the work of Saadho, and to let daily life itself become practice — simple, awake, and unhurried. You live here to be in the presence at the ashram, to serve as you feel called, and to continue your own livelihood from the calm of the mountains.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can stay here?

Saadho Conscious Stays is for the Saadho Sangha — sadhaks of the community who wish to spend time in Dharamshala, be in the presence at the ashram, offer seva, and continue their own work. Your enquiry responses help us understand your connection with Saadho, so we can ensure the space is right for you.

What is expected of me during my stay?

You are warmly invited to the ashram's daily rhythm of practice, and to offer seva as you feel called. Beyond that, your time is your own — to work, to rest, and to go deeper in your sadhana. The spirit is one of presence and service, not obligation.

How can I associate with long-term seva?

Many who stay are drawn to give over a longer arc — to take on ongoing seva and grow closer to the work of Saadho. There is room for that here. When you arrive, the ashram sadhaks will help you find where your hands and skills can serve best, and how your stay can deepen into a longer association with the work.

What does the stay cost?

Shantam (2 BHK) and Samarpan (1 BHK) are both ₹15,000 per person per month, including one meal a day at the ashram. To take the complete 2 BHK (Shantam) privately, the contribution is ₹25,000 per month. The minimum stay is one month.

What is the difference between Shantam and Samarpan?

Shantam (2 BHK) is a shared apartment — ideal if you are coming with another sadhak or are open to shared living, and it can also be taken as a complete private unit. Samarpan (1 BHK) is a more intimate, private space — suited for those who seek deeper solitude, silence, and an undistracted inner environment.

Are meals included?

Yes — one meal a day at the ashram is included with your stay. For other meals, each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, and local food options in Dharamshala are easily accessible nearby.
